This variant of the component is used to indicate that the value inside the form field was populated by AI-generated content.
User responsibility
As mentioned above, the AI Textfield should only be used when an IA has generated its content. If the user modifies the content in any way, meaning:
- It adds to it
- It deletes certain parts
The content ceases to be classified as AI-generated, and the user assumes ownership of it. For more guidelines on AI-generated content, check our AI writing documentation.
If the content was created purely by an AI we should always use this variant to indicate it to the user.
If the user alters its AI generated content in any way like, adding to it or deleting parts of it, the variant should switch back to a default textfield since the content is not entirely AI generated.
AI Glow
Our AI Glow is displayed on this variant, but ONLY for the first five seconds after the content was generated.
Only show the glow for 5 seconds to indicate a content was IA generated.
Don’t use the glow for other states like hover or for prologend periods of time.
Sparkle icon
The sparkle icon cannot be hidden. It acts as a small tooltip that the user can hover over to get a small disclaimer that the content was IA-generated.
We use the spakrle icon as a tooltip.
Don’t remove the sparkle icon from a Textfield that has IA generated content.
Loading/Generating state
While the AI is generating content, the Textfield should be disabled.
While the AI is generating content the Textfield should be disabled.
The user should not be able to edit the content of the Textfield while the AI is generating content for it.
